La Advertencia is a collaboration between artist José Luis Pescador and Francisco de la Mora, based on Antifaz’s investigation for the podcast of the same name.

It emerges from the eponymous podcast, which traces a path from the United States’ support of dictator Efraín Ríos Montt — and his later conviction for genocide — to the administration of former president Jimmy Morales, who clung to power and expelled the International Commission Against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG) from the country.”
